4 Month Photo Gallery

These are some random pics I recently took of Levi.  You’ll see him playing on his new playmat, flashing sweet smiles, chewing on his teething ring, chilling out with Aaron, and holding Caleb’s finger.  I also thought his little toes were too cute to forget about.  Enjoy!!

4 Month Check Up

Our little darlin’ isn’t quite so little anymore.  At his check up, we found out he weighs 16 lb. 6 oz. and he’s 26 inches long.  He’s very healthy and happy, and he lets us know it with loud squeals and giggles now that he’s found out how to use his voice box.  As a new 4 month old baby, he can now use his taste buds to test a few veggies at lunch and dinner.  He’s not quite mastered the art of eating with a spoon, but we’re working on it!  He finally got tired of it and was ready for his bottle.  Check out the cute pics.

Rollin’, Rollin’, Rollin’

Levi has been trying for the last couple of weeks to roll from his back to his tummy, and he finally succeeded on Monday, July 7.  I just happened to see him struggling, grabbed the camera and caught him in action.  He wasn’t sure what to think at first, but he’s now getting used to spending time on his tummy  It won’t be long and he’ll be rolling all over the place.  I’m not sure what we’re gonna do then!

Redbirds Game

Last weekend, we took the boys and met some friends to eat and watch the Redbirds kick some Royals tail!  We also invited one of Jonathan’s best buds, Jake.  The boys pet a snake at the gate, ate some ice cream and cotton candy, and Jonathan even got a ball at the end of the game.  It’s always fun watching the Redbirds play, and it’s getting even better as they all take more interest in the game of baseball.  Here are a few pics of our grand time at Autozone Park.

Baseball News

Jonathan’s all star team played in three tournaments during the month of June, taking home 1st place trophies from the first tournament.  Their second tournament wasn’t quite as productive, and they were put out just after their 3rd game.  The last tournament, we travelled to Louisville, MS, to play for the state title.  They won their first game Thursday night, lost Friday pretty bad, and lost again Saturday, but played a really good game.  It was a little disappointing to the players and parents.  No one was ready to stop playing baseball!  The boys had a good time together hanging out at the hotel and swimming at a nearby lake.  And I think Jonathan was the only player who had both sets of grandparents there to spectate!

Here are some pics of our All Star team.

Batman’s Birthday

Meet our little Batman.  These are pictures of him on his 6th birthday last week.  We didn’t have our birthday pancakes because the boys had been invited to a sleepover the night before.  When they finally got home the next day, Aaron was so excited when he opened this present from us.  He exclaimed, “How did you know this is just what I wanted??!!”  He’s so sweet and always appreciative of the little things.

We cannot get over the fact that Aaron starts first grade in just a month and a half!  He’s growing so fast and learning so much.  He tries to read everything. . . signs, billboards, commercials on TV.  And of course, he’s still my precious little helper, and a sweet big brother to Levi.  We love you so much Aaron!  Happy Birthday!

Ahoy Matey!

Last week, we threw a pirate birthday bash for Aaron and Caleb.  We loaded up the cupcakes and ice cream, and headed to the park.  Their friends showed up and all the kiddos had fun playing.  After the boys blew out the candles, they all scarfed down their food and Aaron and Caleb opened all their presents.  Everyone had a good time, and no one was ready to leave.  Here are some pics of the fun we had.

Short But Sweet Visit

My Mammaw, Aunt Cathy, cousins Katie and Jordan came in two weekends ago to watch Jonathan’s all-star tournament.  They came in after midnight Friday, watched ballgames all day Saturday, ate lunch with us on Sunday, and left soon after that.  We ate lunch at Jillian’s in downtown Memphis.  There is a huge arcade there, and it kept us all entertained for hours.  We had a blast and hope they can come back soon and stay a  little longer!

3 Months and Still Growing

It’s been a while since I’ve shared Levi pictures and stories, so here goes.  Jeff and I have been blessed with awesome babies, and the blessings just keep continuing with Levi.  He is really an angel.  The only time he cries is when he’s hungry, and the rest of the time we hear him experimenting with all the sounds he can make.  When he smiles, which is a lot, his whole face lights up.  He is so close to rolling over from his back to his tummy; but we don’t know what he’s going to do when he does because he does not like to lay on his tummy!  He puts himself to sleep by sucking his thumb.  You will rarely ever see a pacifier in his mouth.  He prefers his little thumb.  I could go on and on, but I’ll share some pictures instead.  Enjoy my precious baby!

Cardinals’ Party

Jonathan’s team had a party at a little burger joint here in town.  They all played arcade games and goofed off together.  They were also presented with new trophies.
