Snow Fun, Part II

Our first snow a month or so ago was nothing compared to what we had last week.  It snowed here for almost 2 days, and left about 6 inches of snow on the ground for us to play in.  This time, Ma helped the boys build a snowman.  They skipped the corn cob hat and button nose and two eyes made out of coal, and instead, stuck a Batman mask on his face!  The boys played almost all day in the snow, and came in only long enough to warm their hands; then off they went, back outside, while Levi stood and watched at the door.  We also drove all over town, trying out all the best sledding spots; but the snow was too slushy or something . . . our make-shift sleds, Rubbermaid tub lids, just didn’t do the trick.  Oh well, tons of fun was had while the snow lasted. . . but now that it’s gone, we’re ready for warm weather!

Snow Fun

Much to the boys’ excitement, we got a little snow here last month.  Not much, but enough to build a mini-Snowman, and have a quick snowball fight, and, more importantly, to close the schools for a day.  Jonathan, poor thing, was grounded; so he missed out on the fun.  Maybe he learned his lesson.  So, here we are in the sea of white.

Snow Day

On March 7, the boys were dismissed early from school because we finally had a good snowfall! So, of course, they played outside building a snowman, throwing snowballs, chasing Dip, and making snow angels until it melted the next day. Even Dip loved rolling, running, and playing in the snow!
