Meet the Crew

Jeff and I have been blessed with four precious and extremely special little boys.  Many people say we’re crazy, but we love the excitement these guys bring to our lives.  We couldn’t imagine life without any of them, and feel very privileged to be called their mama and daddy.  We are all different in our own ways; yet all together, our family is complete.  With all that being said, here’s a quick introduction of each of us.  If you’d like to read more about a particular family member, just click on our name.

Jeff, or Daddy as the kids like to call him, is 30 years old, a church planter, and a senior care consultant.  His list of favorites include his family, his friends, reading, learning, church planting, and talking about all these things.  He works his own schedule during the week, and in the evenings he loves playing baseball in the backyard and the Wii in the living room with the boys.  Every week, he occasionally meets friends for lunch and sometimes a round of golf, and together we eat lunch with the boys at school.  His weekends usually consist of playing and spending time with our family.  We feel extremely blessed that Jeff has the time to hang out with us on a very regular basis.

I, Kacey, am a 29 year old part-time teacher.  My official title is an Intervention Coach, for those on the verge of special education in the middle school.  I love this job because it gives me time for my most important job at home.  I work only 1 day a week, but still get compensated enough to make it worth it.  Most days, I just hang out with Levi.  I feel like I need to take advantage of this time with him because he’s my last baby.  Since Jeff works at home, we have the opportunity to spend time together too.  After I pick the boys up from school, my job becomes a little more difficult, but I’m not complaining.  I try to keep things organized, sign all the papers, and help with the homework.  Then it’s time to just hang out with the fam.  I also enjoy taking pictures, and am an HGTV-aholic!  I love what I do and consider it an honor to be Mom and wife to my awesome family!

Jonathan is 9 years old and going into the 4th grade.  We think he’s a brilliant kiddo and we’re very proud of his many accomplishments throughout his very short 9 years.  His favorite school subjects are science and history, and he totally surprises me with his knowledge in these areas.  S.P.O.T.L.I.G.H.T., the gifted education program at his school really helps to encourage him to excel beyond regular classroom learning, which keeps him from being too bored at school, as well as out of trouble!  Out of school, he likes to play baseball and video games, like any other boy his age.  He currently plays on a competitive baseball team as the catcher and 3rd baseman.

Aaron is an incredible 7 year old who is ready to move up to 2nd grade.  He loves to read and learns in a heartbeat.  He was just tested for the gifted program at school.  We’re just waiting for school to start to see if he was accepted.  Aaron has always been a big helper around the house.  Whatever it is that needs to be done, he notices and does, without being told.  He is very easy-going, and has such a sweet spirit.  He always checks on Levi, and loves to make him happy.  Aaron also likes to play baseball and video games, and ride his bike, but one of his favorite activities is working puzzles.  He is a master of puzzles of any kind-jigsaw and logic.  He is very, very smart and very dedicated to anything he tries.

Caleb, our 6 year old, just completed Kindergarten.  His best buddy is his big brother, Aaron, and together they love to play.  Outside, he likes to jump on the trampoline, catch and love frogs to death, and ride his bike.  Inside, he and Aaron usually play superheroes, where he is Robin.  I love to watch their imaginations run wild.  Caleb is very witty, yet very charming.  I say he’s quite a mess, but he can turn on the charm too!  Everyday, he reminds me that I’m pretty, and that he loves me.  His new thing is making up songs about everything, and singing like he’s the best singer in the world.  He can make a gloomy day bright, and turn a frown upside down with his charisma and sweet personality!

Levi just celebrated his 1st birthday in March.  As we watch him develop from a baby to a little boy, he continues to amaze us with how fast he learns.   He keeps himself busy walking all over the house, exploring what he can get into next.  He loves to play with anything other than toys that are meant to be played with, like the remote control, telephone, magazines, books, and photo albums, etc.  Whenever he gets the chance, he loves to scatter office supplies all over the house too.  He also enjoys the occasional game of peek-a-boo, and pat-a-cake; and occasionally he’ll sit down just long enough to listen to a good book and point at the pictures.  Levi loves being the center of attention, and he’ll clap for himself every chance he gets.  Whenever he hears any music playing, he bounces up and down, dancing with everything he’s got!   And he could light up a room with his bright smile and crinkled nose.  It has been so much fun watching him grow so fast and learn so much!  We couldn’t ask for a better little man, and I am loving him to pieces!
